Attabad Lake (Hunza Valley)


A land sliding in the Hunza Valley made two ranges join together and they halted the course of Hunza River, transforming it into a magnificent lake. It begins from Ganish Village and its length is about 29.3 kilometres. In January 2010 massive landslide occurred at Attabad Village located in Hunza Valley and this mesmerizing lake created as a result of this disaster.
