Located in the Upper Dir district of KPK, Pakistan, Kumrat Valley is one of the stunning valleys of the country. It is a treat for tourists to visit the valley especially in summers to enjoy the mesmerizing greenery and the cool weather.
Joyful meadows, mountains covered with snow, gracious forests along the voluble Panjkora river is an ideal location for camping. Unfortunately, the area is not fully explored and is mostly populated with local tourists only. As there are no hotels as yet to accommodate tourists, therefore, visitors have to setup their own tents and enjoy the memorable camping experience.
It takes almost 6-8 hours to go to Kumrat Valley from the Bazar of Dir either through a public transport or by renting a jeep privately. From Kalam’s main bazaar, taxis can be hired that usually leave for Kumrat early in the morning.
